The Carnegie Hall, also known as the Clashmore Hall, is located in the village of Clashmore,  near Dornoch in the County of Sutherland. The Carnegie Hall is a beautiful Arts & Crafts-style Highland village hall. It was erected in 1907 by the great Scots-born American philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie, for the workers on his Skibo Castle Estate and the residents of Clashmore to use a village hall and library.

The Hall can be hired for a wide range of private events and functions, including: - Concerts - Plays - Ceilidhs - Dances - Highland Weddings and Special Celebrations including Anniversaries & Birthday Parties - Flower Shows & Whist Drives - Plus anything else that your imagine can think of. The hall has the capacity to comfortably hold 140 - 150 guests, and is easily accessible from the main A9 road which passes by the entrance to Clashmore Village.

In addition there is improved access to the side of the hall to allow wheelchairs easier access. Externally there is a fully equipped defibrillator attached to the outside wall.

Inside the hall there is a fully equipped kitchen with plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. A new fridge, electric hob and large oven - plus two large catering water urns and a large electric kettle.

The Hall has a number of older small wooden tables and 14 large foldable tables that you are free to use.
